Who is responsible
Antonio Bortone is the data controller for this independent portfolio. You can contact me at antoniobortone029@gmail.com. I am based in Lisbon, Portugal.
02
Information collected
When you use the contact form, I receive the name, email address, project type, and message you choose to provide.
The site may also process limited technical information, such as an IP address and request details, to deliver the website, prevent spam, and rate-limit repeated form submissions.
To understand how the portfolio is used, it runs Vercel Web Analytics and Vercel Speed Insights. These are cookieless and collect only aggregate, anonymous data — such as page views, approximate country, device and browser type, and loading-performance metrics. They set no cookies, use no persistent identifiers, and do not profile or identify you.
03
Why it is used
Your contact details are used to read and reply to your enquiry, discuss potential work, or take steps you request before entering an agreement.
Technical request data is processed for the legitimate interests of keeping the portfolio available and protecting it from misuse. It is not used for advertising or behavioural profiling.
04
Services involved
Resend processes contact-form submissions to deliver them to my inbox. Vercel hosts the website and provides the cookieless Web Analytics and Speed Insights described above. These providers act under their own security and data-processing commitments.
If a provider processes information outside the European Economic Area, the transfer should rely on an appropriate safeguard, such as an adequacy decision or Standard Contractual Clauses.
05
How long it is kept
Enquiry emails may be retained for up to 24 months after the last meaningful contact, unless they are needed longer for an active collaboration, legal obligation, or dispute.
The portfolio's in-memory rate-limit record expires after approximately 10 minutes. Hosting and email providers may keep operational logs for the periods described in their own policies.
06
Your rights
You may ask to access, correct, delete, restrict, or receive a copy of your personal information, and may object to processing based on legitimate interests. Where consent applies, you can withdraw it at any time.
Contact me first so I can help. You may also lodge a complaint with Portugal's data protection authority, the Comissão Nacional de Proteção de Dados (CNPD).
